Joshua Linsky has established himself as a passionate, make-it-happen musician from coast to coast in Boston and Los Angeles since 2009. Joshua is a graduate of Berklee College of Music (BM Drum Set Performance ‘13) and California Institute of the Arts (MFA Jazz Studies ‘15). Joshua has directed and managed two large ensembles; The Urban Nerdz (Boston - independent) and International Connection (Los Angeles - independent). He has curated the production of many collaborative recording projects since 2012. While he wears many hats in the music industry from composer to producer, some of Joshua's main focuses are being an active session musician and recording engineer as well as a performer.

His career in music education began during his MFA program at CalArts by providing private instruction to graduate and undergraduate students from multiple schools within the institute. Joshua also taught high school students in conjunction with the California State Summer School for the Arts program in 2015, and students ages 11-18 with the Community Arts Partnership program in 2016.

Since graduating from CalArts in 2015, Joshua has been touring with LA-based performing music groups. Along with live performances and a variety of sessions, Joshua holds two music education positions where he teaches 40 students weekly across Los Angeles.
