SUCCESS AND FAILURE

LYRICS

i remember doin this back in the day

been through this shit

set up the mic in the closet

thinkin we fully equipped

humble beginnings blossom into the feeling of winning

but it's just a feeling unless that's the way i'm really livin

i make it happen i manifest it fully invested

i'm not done chasing i'm not ready to take a vacation

it's all the time, experience, and lessons that i'm taking

focused into making this magnum opus i am creating

success and failure are the same thing til they're not so

either i believe in what i do and take a shot or

give it up and dedicate my hustle to the shop

my family knows just what i'm doing and i'll never stop

i'm elevating not celebrating until i reach the top

but what's the top? it's coordinates may be many different spots

still got a lot to understand about what i'm goin through

holding true to what i believe i gotta do

gonna face adversity as long as i'm alive

i know one day i will learn how to fly

positivity radiates with me that is my vibe

something greater for me up in the sky

support my family, finding a way to survive

i'm grinding constantly, one day we will arrive

got things i wanna see, haven't seen in my life

believe i will succeed, and things will be alright

got all these memories stackin up way too high

i carry them with me, they stay keepin me wise

i thank god i'm alive, for this air in my lungs

i will never lose sight of where i'm comin from

wherever i'm goin i'm knowin things will be alright

feel like i've been chosen to explode like when two stars collide

that's how i live my life cause that's just how i feel

i know that staying balanced just means keeping it real

lookin back got me feeling depression it's really upsetting

what is success without going through some kind of progression

got this feeling in my stomach it's gettin hard to digest it

but that just means i care about what i invest in

and all of the successes that my life has been blessed with

didn't come without learning some of the hardest lessons

some of the greatest friendships don't have a happy ending

i acknowledged and accepted a completely new direction

gonna face adversity as long as i'm alive
i know one day i will learn how to fly
positivity radiates with me that is my vibe
something greater for me up in the sky
support my family, finding a way to survive
i'm grinding constantly, one day we will arrive
got things i wanna see, haven't seen in my life
believe i will succeed, and things will be alright

Mendeleyev:

things will be alright

MAKE IT HAPPEN

LYRICS

Mendeleyev:

make it happen

Dave Vives:

in the mornin

in the evenin

everyday

feels good to me

in the zone

in control

keep it goin

make it happen baby

gotta keep it

keep it goin

feels good

feels good

in the zone

make it happen baby

THIS TOO SHALL PASS

LYRICS

recently the world has started lookin a little different to me

everytime i wake up feels like i'm in a different scene

sometimes we sing the same song in a different key

and expect the melody to end differently

when it's good it's great and i wanna stay there

but i gotta keep my head on straight when i'm on the way there

cause once i arrive to that place i'm tryna get to

i've learned too many times there's gonna be more i gotta get through

when good things are happening this too shall pass

when bad vibes surrounding you this too shall pass

bad vibes i'm not fuckin with that

sometimes you can't stop it, it's a matter of fact

but in that moment i know i can decide for myself

how much it can affect me man my knowledge is wealth

good vibes surrounding me all day

since back in '08 like no no pe

i keep my head up high when things start to feel difficult

cause in this world that's digital it's hard to feel original

when good things are happening this too shall pass

when bad vibes surrounding you this too shall pass

so pass me the rock

i'm goin up non-stop and i like it a lot

i'll never stop this climb til this breath is my last

vibes more positive away from my past

yea that's word to my trajectory

i knew to do better i had to start with respecting me

and i now i can just let it go

if good or bad's surrounding me it's best if i just let you know

Sri Nitai Dasa:

hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare

hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare

Josh:

when good things are happening this too shall pass

when bad vibes surrounding you this too shall pass

BEGIN AGAIN

LYRICS

we can stay kids if we want to

bring out the joy and the laughter

we can stay friends if we want to

the things from the past do not matter

so let me tell you what i'm after

a couple records hanging on the wall

in a pasture chillin with something rolled up like a blaster

dreaming this landscape up i'm a crafter

finally went and did something with my masters

i'm just playin

with  my speech, not an actor

but i'm loud puffin on my pronouns and adverbs

this a rad verse and i'm still writing mad words

conditions adverse almost had me swimming backwards

i begin again start by rollin up a backwoods

i'm about to snap karate kickin some flat wood

i stopped lookin back and moved my shit outta that hood

in fact the kid is back intact doin immaculate

ATTITUDE DETERMINES ALTITUDE

LYRICS

attitutude determines altitude

it's all up to you

attitude determines altitude

it's about what you say and do

level up that's just what i did

and i'm still a kid

i admit i'm on some rookie shit

like it's season one

but i've done did this all before

this another run

run it back this is my attack

so get on the floor and dance with me

like i'm off the wall

greatest of them all

just pass me the ball and i'm pullin up

overall doing great

just another day livin in LA seven years

i am in my prime

i learned how to fly

high altitude that's how i'm tryna do everything

attitude determines altitude

it's all up to you

attitude determines altitude

it's about what you say and do

JUST BE CAUSE

LYRICS

you've been coming home alone lately

but you don't seem to care

this is the way it has to be now

doesn't matter if it's fair

maybe you might learn something

from all of this fresh air

just because you can't see it

doesn't mean it's not there

you've been lookin to the sky prayin

wondering if anybody's there

you've been cryin yourself to sleep thinkin

that you cannot compare

but you can't get down on yourself like that

can't forget why you are here

just because you can't see it

doesn't mean it's not there

I'M STILL HERE

LYRICS

i'm still here in the sunshine

i'm still here in the sunlight

i'm still here and i'm alright

i'm still here livin one day at a time

it's my time to shine

no tears left to cry because

inside i know the world is mine now

somehow i ended up on my own

had to find out what the solitude felt like

quiet inside my mind now

but it's all good after the fact

cause i discovered that i needed just a little of that

for the longest time thought i had it all figured out

but i was wrong

i was blind and it was myself i needed to find

man i was gone

it's crazy because i thought what i was doin felt right

and i tried ignoring all the times i woke up at night

i kept it all buried inside and just went about my life

while everyone around me wondered if i'd be alright

(you gonna be alright?) but i'm good so you don't need to worry

i'm still here and i'm not in a hurry to run from my demons

cause i stayed here to face them

still have way to many dreams that i'm chasin

now i know i'm free to fly to different places

but for now i'm still here

i'm still here in the sunshine

i'm still here in the sunlight

i'm still here and i'm alright

YNIWYA

LYRICS

Ace:

i was looked at as like a crazy person for moving away from home

you know what i'm sayin? and some people like, praised me for it

and some people looked at me like i was fuckin like psychotic individual

your name is what you are

who you is?

all i wanna do is experience life, what's wrong with that?

your name is what you are

Josh:

your name is what you are you take it everywhere you go

whether you're crusin down your block or headed far away from home

and when you get to where you're going well now there you are

and to think they called you crazy for wanting to be a star

they don't realize it's not fame you're chasing

even though some day they might be the ones gazing at something you created

damn that's amazing

think you're lookin for a break but you already broke

you have to be fluent and congruent with every one of your movements

before you even do it

to bring yourself to the places you imagined within your mind

where anything can happen

it's up to you to take some action

Both:

stay focused and away from distraction

Ace:

satisfied with my lack of apology

this may be the last of my honesty

cause honestly they care less about the journey

they don't wanna hear that shit unless you stackin up that broccoli

satisfied with my lack of apology

this may be the last of you hearin me

since most only care when you gone

it's the last of my song, i hope you miss me when i'm gone

satisfied with my lack of apology
this may be the last of you hearin me

they really only miss you when you gone

so on that note i'm leavin after this song
